1 · The growth tax
Most tools charge you more every time you hire.
Per-seat and per-location pricing means a good month — a new hire, a second site — quietly raises your bill. You get punished for the exact thing you’re trying to do.
We don’t. Every plan includes a block of people up front. Grow into it before you pay a penny more, and extra people are a small, flat, falling rate — never a step change.
2 · The staff toll
Most tools make the people using the app pay for it.
Charge per active user and every team member who opens the app to check a shift is another line on the invoice. The tool that should get your whole team on board taxes you for doing it.
We don’t. The team app is free for staff, always. You pay for the business account; everyone clocking in, swapping shifts and reading the rota costs nothing.
And every feature is in every plan. Tiers are about the size of your team, not a wall between you and the thing you actually need.
Pricing questions
What counts as a person?
Anyone with a login — every member of staff you add. Your included seats cover your first people, and extra people are a small per-person add-on.
Do bigger plans unlock more features?
No. Every plan includes the whole of miaHQ. Plans differ only by how many people are included and the per-person rate — never by which features you can use.
What does annual billing save?
Paying annually works out at roughly two months free versus paying monthly, on both the base plan and any extra people.
