Notifications and the bell
What the bell tells you, and where those alerts come from.
The bell in the top bar is your running list of things worth knowing about — kept quiet and in one place rather than scattered across emails.
What lands on your bell
- Time-off updates — managers are notified when someone requests leave; the requester is notified when it's approved or declined.
- Support replies — when the miaHQ team answers your ticket, it shows here and links straight to the thread.
- Announcements — company-wide notices from the miaHQ team.
- Training certificates — when you earn a certificate, you're notified (and emailed too).
Email as well as in-app
Some of these — like time-off decisions, support replies and certificates — also arrive by email, so you're covered whether or not you're in the app at the time.
Tap the bell any time to catch up; it's designed to keep you informed without pulling you out of your day.
