Setting up your company details
Company name, locations, time zone and the weather location that powers your dashboard.
Your company details are the foundation everything else reads from — the time zone your shifts and clock-ins are measured in, the locations you schedule against, and the branding your team sees.
Where to find it
Open Settings from the bottom-left of the sidebar, then choose General.
What to set
- Company name and time zone. The time zone matters most — clock-ins, timesheets and the dashboard clock all use it, so set it before your team starts clocking in.
- Locations. Add each site you schedule against. Shifts and the kiosk are tied to a location.
- Weather location. Type your town or city and miaHQ geocodes it, so the dashboard can show a gentle weather pill for the day. Leave it blank and the pill simply stays hidden.
Branding
Under Settings → Branding you can add your logo, choose an accent colour, and set a custom login page for your team. Your logo and colour flow through the sidebar, the login screen and the clock-in kiosk. See Customising your branding for the full walkthrough.
