Health checks
Set up routine checks on a schedule, record them on the round, and let reminders chase renewals.
Health checks are routine checks — a body-condition score, a foot check, whatever your routine needs — that run on a schedule and remind you when they're due.
Set up a check type
Managers create a check type (under Animals → Check types): a name, an optional cadence (how many days between checks), and a tick-list of what to look at. You can have it auto-raise a task when a renewal comes due.
Enrol an animal
Enrol an animal in a check type with its first due date, and it starts appearing on the care round when due.
Recording a check
On the round, work through the tick-list, record the animal's weight and overall health, and add any notes. Completing a check:
- snapshots the tick-list onto the record,
- moves the schedule on to its next due date,
- updates the animal's current weight and health status, and
- closes any renewal task it satisfies.
Renewals
When a check falls due, miaHQ can raise a quick task to the right area team automatically (or you can create one by hand), so nothing routine gets forgotten. Completing the check clears the task.
