Perseus

Perseus is the hero who arrives — the one who turns up and does the difficult part. That is the shape of this release. Cassiopeia laid the foundation and Cepheus got the right thing in front of the right person; Perseus takes work off you. The rota fills itself, the week's hours leave as a file payroll can actually use, and the things you have to be able to prove stop living in a folder somewhere.

Mia fills the week

Press Fill with Mia and the open shifts fill themselves — around who is on leave, who is available, the roles each person can work and the hours they are contracted to. It is AI you can audit: it never moves anyone you have already placed, it gives you the same rota from the same inputs every time, and it hands you a report of every slot it could not fill and exactly why.

It now works everywhere the rota does — day, week and month share one header, with the team pool alongside. And it works on a published week: a gap on a live rota can be filled in place, because only open slots are ever touched, so a published week gains cover without anyone's shift moving. Applied templates can be cleared or removed again if you change your mind.

A dashboard you arrange yourself

Your home screen is now yours to lay out. Drag widgets into the order you want, resize them, and use the context menu to add or remove what you care about. Layouts are remembered per device, so the arrangement that suits a phone can differ from the one you use at a desk — and reordering works properly by touch, not just with a mouse.

Payroll, as a file you can hand over

Approve the week and export the pay period as a CSV, built from approved hours and reconciled across whole weeks, so the figures you send are the figures you approved.

Two long-standing awkward cases now behave. Overnight shifts read correctly on timesheets — a moon marker and a connector show a shift running past midnight, the row shows no End on the day it began, and the shift carries across into the adjacent week rather than vanishing at the boundary. And planned unpaid breaks can be set on a shift up front, so a rota with breaks built in adds up the way you expect.

Documents and compliance in one place

Keep the documents a person's file needs — sorted into categories, with per-document access so sensitive items are only seen by those who should see them, and self-service for the things people should be able to fetch themselves.

Alongside them, compliance tracking: record what each role requires, see the whole team as a matrix, and let status derive itself from what is actually on file rather than from someone remembering to update a column.

Two-step sign-in for admins

Admin accounts can now turn on two-step sign-in, with proper enrolment and a recovery route if a device is lost. The accounts that can change the most are the ones worth protecting first.

Animal care, end to end

For farm parks and animal collections, the animal side is now a section in its own right, opening on an Overview rather than a list.

Routine health checks can be scheduled and recorded, with renewals surfacing quietly as they come due. The medicine book covers acquisitions, disposals and holdings, and exports the VMR an inspector asks for. Access follows your areas, so a keeper sees the rounds and animals that are theirs.

Finding your way around

The sidebar is now grouped vertically, with Manage split out and groups you can collapse. Hub pages share one layout, with tiles that carry their own status — including a live week glance on the Scheduler tile, so the state of the rota is visible before you open it.

Smaller touches

Search the team list instead of scrolling it.
Reveal bank details on file behind a deliberate toggle, rather than leaving them on screen.
The kiosk gains a short, self-locking session after a PIN, so a shared tablet does not stay open on someone's account.
Tabs no longer crowd or wrap awkwardly on a narrow phone.
Dashboard heroes fit a 320px screen.
