Andromeda era
Cassiopeia
1.0ShippedEvery galaxy starts somewhere. Andromeda is our first era, and Cassiopeia is the release that opens it — the Queen who comes before the rest of the story. This is the foundation everything else in miaHQ is built on: the release that answers the oldest question in any team: who's working, when, and what happens when the week doesn't go to plan.
Everything we ship from here grows out of what lands today. That's why it names the launch.
Schedule builder
The core of it all. Plan the whole week in one view — set the coverage each role needs, drag shifts into place, reuse last week as a template, and publish straight to your team when it's ready. Drafts stay private until you hit publish, so nobody sees a half-finished rota. This is the ground everything else stands on.
Sick-day cover, handled
When someone calls in sick, mark it in one tap from the day view. miaHQ records the approved leave, moves them to "off sick today," and surfaces the now-uncovered shift so you can find cover before it's a problem — instead of discovering the gap when nobody arrives.
Timesheets that understand time off
Approved leave now shows up on timesheets with the right label instead of reading as a no-show. Sick days, holidays and other leave are clearly marked — on screen and in the exported PDF.
Smaller touches
- Per-employee timesheet detail view, with a day-by-day breakdown and estimated pay.
- Inline editing of clock-in and clock-out times, right in the timesheet.
- Calmer manager notifications — approved-on-entry leave no longer pings the bell.
This is where miaHQ begins. Everything after this is another constellation in the Andromeda sky.
